Oregon Prosperity Project Honored

Oregon Prosperity Project Honored

This week the Oregon Prosperity Project was honored by our colleagues across the country.  We received the STAR Award for Best Prosperity Project Communications of 2011.  We are honored and humbled by the recognition. And we hope its further evidence that we’re making a difference. We never want to lose sight of our goal of making Oregon the most prosperous state in the nation.

To us, this means growth in career and job opportunities here in Oregon. We believe we can accomplish a goal of adding 25,000 new private sector jobs in Oregon per year.  We also believe that an improved economy will raise incomes and standards of living for our friends and neighbors across the state. Oregon incomes lag the national average by 10%. We believe we can grow Oregon incomes to exceed the national average in less than 10 years.

But all of this requires a concerted effort to be educated and make policy choices and choices on election day that will put Oregon on this path. We want to be on the leading edge of informing you about these choices.  Today we say “thank you” for the recognition and continued thanks for your support.
